With the sailing world still coming to terms with the next America’s Cup being in radical solid wingsail catamarans, so Russell Coutts, the architect of these changes tells about the imminent announcement of the AC34 venue, campaign costs and his thoughts on getting wingsail multihulls onto and off the dock. The latest version of the AC72 design rule has been published. While Coutts claimed the fleet racing prize on Saturday at the RC44 World Championships, it was James Spithill who won overall.
