A busy weekend – the Barcelona World Race leaders are tackling the South Atlantic high as the next group line up for Cape Horn and the tailenders struggle in Cook Strait. Thomas Coville is also due to round Cape Horn tomorrow as he reels in Francis Joyon. Racing for the RC44s concluded in San Diego with a first win for Katusha while in Miami the Melges 32 dust up was dominated by John Kilroy’s Samba Pa Ti. Heineken St Maarten regatta has concluded. See Rick Tomlinson’s images from day one. Layday today, but yesterday Michael Coxon’s team came out on top at the Winning Appliance JJ Giltinan 18ft Skiff Championship. Seb Josse has been announced as Gitana’s MOD70 skipper while in NZ, a new Ker 46 has been launched.
