Britain in contention for 470 Women's gold at London 2012
Last weekend marked a landmark in British Olympic sailing when Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark became the first British women to become 470 World Champions. At the Trofeo Condo de Godo, the new Audi Azzurra won yesterday in the TP52s, while Tony Buckingham’s Ngoni scored three bullets in the Soto 40s. After a tricky 24 hours, Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing has nosed ahead in the Volvo Ocean Race. Sir Peter Ogden’s Jethou came out on top in the Rolex Volcano Race. Virbac Paprec 3 claimed honours into Cascais on leg one of the Europa Warm Up. There is another interesting line-up for the Coutts Quarter Ton Cup.
