On Friday the leaders in the Volvo Ocean Race passed Cape Horn. Third placed Telefonica stopped in the lee of Cape Horn to effect repairs and drop off a crewman, as yesterday morning Puma took the lead. Back up to speed this morning Puma and Groupama remain neck and neck. The Global Ocean Race start of leg 4 has been delayed. South of Jamaica, the Solidaire du Chocolat leaders are two days out from the finish. Steve Howe and Russell Coutts came out on top aboard Katusha at the Cascais RC44 Cup. Ian Williams’ Team GAC Pindar defended their title at the Congressional Cup. BVI Spring Regatta concluded yesterday. Four crew have been injured in the Clipper Race.
