Come from behind win for Marie

Monday December 2 2013 Author: James Boyd Location: none selected

There was a well deserved victory for Sebastien Rogues and Fabien Delahaye aboard GDF Suez in the Class40s in the Transat Jacques Vabre. A deluge of Class40s followed them into Itajai yesterday. We look at the new Tom Humphreys-designed Class40, Vaquita. In the Mini Transat there was a change of leader overnight on Saturday with Benoit Marie arriving in Pointe a Pitre with no knowledge he’d won! There was an equally tense conclusion to the Alpari World Match Racing Tour which went to the wire at the Monsoon Cup. Fresh out of the box, the new Coopers 62-Rag & Famish Hotel won her first race at the 18ft skiff’s 3-Buoys Challenge on Sydney Harbour.
