40 year old Robert Scheidt showed some of his old form by claiming the Laser Worlds in Oman. At the Calero Marinas RC44 World Championship there was a dramatic final day that saw Saturday's leaders Ironbound and Team Aqua overhauled by Team Ceeref, however Chris Bake’s team won the overall season championship. Vincent Riou and Jean le Cam's PRB won the IMOCA 60 class in the Transat Jacques Vabre. The top four 60s are now home – see this morning’s report. The Mini Transat Protos leaders are facing a threat from the south. Beau Geste claimed round three of the Sydney City Marine TP52 Southern Cross Cup, while Rabbitohs-Kenwood won the race six of the 18ft skiff’s 3 Buoys Challenge Series.
