Feva recognised

RYA endorse RS boat and chose it for junior's team racing

The RYA has granted the RS Feva Junior 'Recognised' status. The RS Feva has sold over 900 boats in two years and has already been chosen as the RYA’s junior team racing boat. The asymmetric-spinnakered RS Feva is now a Recognised class for the aspiring fleet racer.

Now in it’s second season, the RS Feva race squad, run by the Class with the help of the RYA, offers high level, low cost race training for junior (under 16 on 31st Dec) sailors through the winter months. The boat has particularly found favour with Optimist sailors, helping to make the transition from single-handed sailing to the two person Youth classes.

The highlight of the 2005 RS Feva race circuit, where the adults can mix it with the youngsters, is undoubtedly the inaugural European Championships, to be held at Hoorn in the Netherlands in July. The RS Feva is proving popular around the world, with a strong following in Europe, Scandinavia and it is about to be launched in the USA.
