New appointmentRS have rapidly increased their sales to sailing schools, clubs and other fleet operators over the last few years.
“Even in the current climate our growth has continued,” says MD Martin Wadhams “so we are very pleased to announce that Rich Hoey has joined us to work specifically on fleet sales and support. Rich takes over from Dan Jaspers who has gone on to become the Training Manager at ISAF - we wish Dan all the best in his new role and we’ll work with him there on international training projects.”
Rich has a strong background for his role at RS with a watersports and management related degree from Southampton University followed by a number of years experience at the sharp end of sailing instructing and running centres. In fact Rich’s father runs Whitlingham Outdoor, an RS Academy in Norfolk, so you could even say he has it in the blood and he is committed to giving the best possible service to RS fleet customers.
RS has put real emphasis into refining its All Purpose Boat range, the RS Tera, Q’BA, Feva and Vision, to suit the needs of clubs and schools. There are a number of specialist packs that can be added to the boats and some of the UK’s biggest names now operate fleets of RS boats.
Rich will be on the RS stand next to the marina at the Southampton Boat Show from 11-20 September.
