Frensham Frenzy!

A more sedate form of racing is to be introduced on some Surrey ponds on 10 March

The first Frensham Frenzy Pursuit race is taking place at Frensham Pond on March 10th and should be great fun for all the family.

The format is one pursuit race in the morning followed by a sociable lunch and another race in the afternoon. Guildford Marine chandlers will be there all day
in case of breakages and after sailing they are sponsoring generous prizes and the famous free Frensham tea!

The event is tailored to slower boats with handicaps between 1003 and 1433 allowed to enter so there won't be any Thames A Raters stealing your wind!

The first start is for Cadets at 10.30. The club is located on the A287 five miles south of Farnham on the Surrey/Hampshire border.

Advance entry is recommended as places are already filling up fast, no surprise with the entry fee just £5 for single-handers, £6 for double-handers!
