Mirabaud LX, Thomas Jundt's three man foils, will be on show in the UK this summer during Cowes Week starting on 7 August. Jundt, the Geneva-based sailor and designer of the Mirabaud LX, will also be on board.

Since she participated in Weymouth Speed Week last year, so the Mirabaud LX has been fitted with a new solid wing sail, similar to those seen on C-cats and in the latest genre of America's Cup catamarans.

Thomas Jundt, designer and key crew member, said: “I have been monitoring the evolution of wing masts for years and following the significant advancement in know-how and materials, it has become feasible to mount one on this sort of platform. I have no doubt that this will greatly add to the speed and performance of the LX.”

Giles Morland, Mirabaud Managing Partner added: "Cowes Week provides the ideal arena to demonstrate the cutting edge technology involved with the Mirabaud LX and for the sailing enthusiasts to witness the boat in action.”

During Cowes Week the Mirabaud LX will be hosting a number of Mirabaud’s clients, journalists and well known sailing enthusiasts during Cowes Week. A proposed Q&A session with Thomas Jundt is also being arranged for sailors taking part in Cowes week. More details will be announced in due course.
