Weather at 0230, 23/12/00Looking ahead to Saturday morning (left), we can see how that low pressure system is forecast to drop south, and combine with the two centres behind it to set up some great westerly conditions for the whole fleet into the weekend.

At the moment it's not forecast to move much further east than the position shown here, which means that Coville and MacArthur may well be able to hang onto the gains that they have made in the last couple of days - at least through to the end of the weekend ...
