What’s your biggest championship win? The 420 World Championships, and then the British Olympic 470 trials in 1988. Any other notable regatta wins you’d like to mention? RS800 Nationals 2000. Where did you grow up? Gosport. What job do you do? Sales and Technical support for Frederikson Boat Fittings. If you weren’t doing the job you are, what would you be doing instead? Navel Architect. What other sports do you do outside sailing? None. Any other hobbies or interests? No. Favourite method of relaxing? Watching TV. Favourite bar or pub? A real ale one. What inspired you to take up sailing? My parents and being close to the sea. Where was your first sailing club? Stokes Bay Sailing Club. Which class did you first race in? Optimist. What’s your most memorable moment in sailing? Qualifying for the Olympics. What’s your biggest remaining goal in sailing? To win a medal at the Olympics.
