Vendee Globe - 1330 - 15/12/00
In the forecast for Sunday morning (left) we can see that this system is now all the way to the right of the image. It should drag everyone east at pace for the next 48 hours, or however long they can hang on to it.
We can probably expect Michel Desjoyeaux to lose a little as the pack bring the best breeze in this new system up to him, but after that it'll be more about keeping the boat upright, fast and safe than weather strategy. It's a physically testing weekend coming up.

Please note that two different methods of calculating the Distance to Finish are being used, one by Virtual Spectator and one by the Vendee Globe Race Office, we will try to always make it clear which we are using!
