Due to the busy schedule that the crew members of the British America's Cup Challenge, GBR Challenge, have to follow, Andy Beadsworth will now attend the Volvo RYA Youth Championships and Trials on Tuesday 2 April, instead of the Wednesday, that was previously reported.

Olympian and GBR Challenge Helmsman Andy Beadsworth will arrive at the Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy after lunch on Tuesday 2 April. He will then be taken out on the water to see some of the exciting action on the various courses. After the days racing, a talk will follow in the main hanger at the Academy where the youth sailors will be able to listen to Andy debrief them on the days action and then follow this up with a talk on GBR Challenge, how he got to where he is today and the exciting developments that are taking place in the GBR Challenge camp.

"We are delighted that Andy Beadsworth is able too take time out of his busy schedule to attend the Volvo RYA Youth Championships and Trials," commented Steve Joel, RYA Youth Sailing Manager. "After 15 years out of the America's Cup, GBR Challenge is likely to have a strong presence at the next America's Cup and it will be great for the youth sailors to get an exclusive insight into the work done by GBR Challenge and hopefully feel inspired to follow this exciting career in the future."
