Extreme Sail nominated for British Sports Book Awards

Ollie Dewar's book Extreme Sail has been nominated for the British Sports Book Awards 2007. Shortlisted in the ‘Best Illustrated Title’ category, the book is up against a photo-biography of Aussie cricketing legend, Shane Warne, two football-related titles and an illustrated biography of Italy’s motor cycling maestro, Valentino Rossi.

On Tuesday 27 March, judges drawn from a cross-section of print and broadcast media including The Times, The Daily Telegraph, the BBC and Sky Sports will name the winner during an awards ceremony held at the Café Royal in London’s West End.

Extreme Sail is the first sailing book to be nominated for the British Sports Book Awards. Previous winners in the ‘Best Illustrated Title’ category include books on Grand Prix Racing, Golf, the Olympics and, of course, football.
