Update on the Lymington-based event on 13-15 July

Wednesday June 27th 2001, Author: Sarah Mudie, Location: United Kingdom
Record Entries Entries are flooding into the Regatta Office across the classes, with the number of entries received so far well up on previous years. Racing will be held over the three days for the America's Cup Class, International 12 metres, IC45s, Farr 40s, Sydney 40s, IRM and IRC divisions, Mumm 30s and J boats.
Enquiries for entry forms and Notice of Race can be obtained from the Berthon Source Regatta Office, either via email at or by telephoning +44 (0) 1590 673312 or faxing +44 (0) 1590 676353.

Racing, run by the Royal Lymington YC, has been scheduled to fit with the neap tide times, and the warning signal on Friday will not be before 1250 to ensure that boats are able to have free access up and down the Lymington River. With predicted low tide heights a metre higher than over the spring tide Farr 40 event in early May 2001, yachts ought to have clear access to and from the marina in good time for racing.
