Weather gods smile on Groupama 3  
Excellent forecast ahead in the South Atlantic with Cammas' maxi-tri already off Recife
Extremely noticable following Groupama 3's progress around the world so far (compared to Orange 2 or even IDEC 2) is just how quick she is in the marginal conditions. Typically coming out of the Doldrums and picking up the easterly/northeasterly South Atlantic trades is a transition period. But the maxi-tri gobbles up miles these conditions, averaging 21.5 knots as she crossed the Equator yesterday and now up to 26.8 as she hurtles south, the trade winds slowly backing to the northeast onto her optimum point of sail.
