Simon and Joff are proud to have brought high profile multi million pound projects to fruition.

Commenting on their aims for the business, Joff said: “Over the last 13 years working in the industry and more specifically the IMOCA class, we have grown with the latest technology available. With the increasing synergy in design, materials and equipment between round the world racing boats and the performance super yachts, we feel now is the right time to take our experience, knowledge and relationship with leading suppliers to other markets. Whitecap was borne out of our desire to offer a premium service that capitalises on our wealth of experience to offer the very best solutions to our clients.”

Whitecap already have an impressive array of professional endorsements from the likes of Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Dee Caffari MBE and Conrad Humphreys and currently provide management of the modification program and refit of Mike Golding’s state of the art Open/IMOCA 60 Gamesa ahead of Golding’s bid to win the Vendee Globe 2012.

Talking about the brokerage side of the business, Simon added: “We are particularly excited to be offering a brokerage service and feel that with our technical and sailing background, we will be able to provide an informed and relevant brokerage service where sound advice and an in depth understanding of the yachts will be a big attraction to vendors and purchasers alike.

"It has been our focus at Whitecap to ensure that we have a commercial and professional infrastructure constituting carefully selected preferred suppliers and an exceptionally well qualified advisory panel whose support and advice is highly valued by the Whitecap directors."
