The Puma Moth Worlds had their first race in Dubai yesterday in light, shifty conditions, with a win for Australian Andrew McDougall, who is also designer of the Bladerider and Mach 2. Not a great day for Tim Penfold – follow his blog here. Three races are planned for today

and despite a short postponement ashore, there appears to be a little more breeze. Cup teams have also got their first points on the board today at the Louis Vuitton Trophy Auckland, but with TeamOrigin suffering a defeat to winners of the Nice event, the Francesco Bruni-driven Azzurra.
