With one week to go until the TopMark 2006 registration deadline, you'd be an April Fool to miss out on the RYA's top coaching weekend.

Held at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy from 1-2 April, TopMark gives all sailors the chance to bump start their season by learning from the country's best coaches and sailing experts with a series of workshops and on the water coaching in your own boat.

Topics range from effective starts, to racing rules and the essentials of weather, with Olympic bronze medallist Chris Draper delivering Saturday's keynote speech on "The Science of Success".

Saturday 1 April will give delegates the chance to attend their choice of three two-hour workshops, before putting their newly-learned theory into practice in their own boats out on the water on Sunday 2 April, under the watchful eye of expert coaches.

Alan Olive, RYA Coaching Development Manager explained: "As a class sailor myself this event allows me to access some of the experts I couldn't have booked. It's the closest you can get to an Olympic Squad weekend!"

Registration for a full delegate (both days) costs just £75 and includes all meals and Saturday night accommodation. Day delegate fees are available, along with reduced fees for crews and RYA members.
