Innovative electronics manufacturer introduces new Maxi range

Tacktick will be launching their innovative new Maxi range of high contrast, super large wireless instruments at the London Boat Show on the Tacktick stand S2300. The USP of the new range is that first time customers wishing to add mast displays to their boats can do so in a matter of minutes without having the cost and hassle of running wires to the mast.

Designed for racing and large yachts, the new Maxi Display is a high visibility mast display providing large 38mm digits showing a single line of accurate data which can be seen from anywhere on the boat. The unique wireless Micronet technology offers a highly sophisticated and accurate electronics system. Each Maxi display is able to receive and show all forms of data wirelessly including polar data, true wind speed and angle, VMG and compass heading as well as all standard data. The new Maxi range is compatible will tactical racing software via the NMEA interface and has performance pages available for data uploads.

As with all Tacktick electronics, the displays are totally waterproof and built to withstand the demanding racing environment. The Maxi range of wireless instruments is controlled by the recently launched Micronet Remote Display which in addition acts as an independent wireless palm-sized display. The Maxi range offer two colours of backlighting, amber or red, with only the number glowing which means improved visibility without destroying your night vision.

The new Micronet Maxi range starts from £499.95 inc Vat and is available from all good marine electronics retailers and chandleries.
