Germany's Courage IX leads the Modern fleet with one win and a second place, while RORC representative Andy Postle leads Titia at the head of the Classics.
"The crew, the boat, the sails.... and our ability to find the right balance all made a difference today. More wind is expected tomorrow that will certainly affects the overall results..." said Alba Batzill of Courage IX.
With three days left to go into the championship, anything can happen in the competition as mild weather conditions are expected to strengthen a bit, with eager runner-ups such as André Chaudoye and his Holm design ready to battle it out.
Races resume tomorrow inside the beatiful and sunny Bay of Quiberon. At least two races should be added to todays results.
