Nespresso back in the America's Cup
Nespresso began its association with the sport of sailing as co-sponsor of Team Alinghi for the 32nd America’s Cup campaign between 2004-2007, as well as being the Official Coffee to the event. ice April 2011 they have also been a partner of Emirates Team New Zealand.
The agreement with the America’s Cup will allow Nespresso to create multiple 'brand and product experiences' throughout the ‘Summer of Sailing’ in San Francisco. Fans and guests at the America’s Cup Park will have the opportunity to taste the ultimate cups: Nespresso Grand Cru coffees.
The new partnership also includes the America’s Cup World Series, which returns to Naples, Italy in April, before the world’s attention turns to San Francisco for a full summer of cutthroat competition, beginning with the Louis Vuitton Cup, from 4 July until 30 August culminating inthe America’s Cup itself over 7-21 September.

Meanwhile... former Police frontman, Sting, is the first headline act announced to perform at the America's Cup Concert Series taking place at the America’s Cup Pavilion, the new, temporary, 9,000 seat venue located between Piers 27/29. The America’s Cup Pavilion will host multiple events in the summer of 2013 in San Francisco's first outdoor, waterfront concert venue.
The concert will form part of Sting's Back to Bass world tour.
The America’s Cup Concert Series is a major live entertainment initiative in support of the America's Cup Park on the Embarcadero, intended to create a vibrant, public space with a full range of activities for sailors and non-sailors alike.

Construction is set to begin in spring of 2013 with the first events anticipated by mid-May 2013 and running through October 2013.
